MANFRED HOLZER  (Amateur-photographer)

Born in Vienna, 1957, construction engineer in railway technik, tube- and bridge construction.

First specialised in portraits and landscape shots in black and white, he switched 1995 to digital imaging and the designing of complex photomontage.
His pictures are not thought for a superficial view, instead people should try to look behind the obvious.
He plays conscious with colours, with the intention of causing sensation. Mystic, phantastic and social-critic themes are his prefered subjects that shall take the viewer to think about and that shall call the observers imagination.

At international competitions Manfred Holzer reached over 700 acceptances and more then 120 awards (20 times gold)
